Earthing

Most people wear shoes with rubber or plastic soles for the better part of each day. This might be one of the banes of modern existence. Just as the sun gives us warmth and vitamin D, the Earth underfoot gives us something very important—an eternal, natural, and gentle energy. Think of it as vitamin G (G for ground). You can’t see the Earth’s energy but you might feel it as a warm, tingling sensation when you are out walking barefoot on the beach or on a stretch of dew-moistened grass.
The concept of earthing, also known as grounding, is simply walking barefoot; grounding your body to the Earth. It was initially developed by Clint Ober. Later Dr. Oschman (PhD in biology) provided the scientific groundwork for understanding what actually occurs.
